Radio City Music Hall

Radio City Music Hall is an entertainment venue located in the Rockefeller Center. The Rockefeller Center was built between 1930 and 1939. The Radio City Music Hall was finished in 1932.

When the Radio City Music Hall was built, it was the largest (movie) theater in the world. The Great Stage, measures 20 meter deep and 44 meter wide, and makes place for almost 6.000 spectators.
By the 1970s, changes in film distribution made it difficult for Radio City to secure exclusive bookings of many films. Regular film showings at Radio City ended in 1979

Nowada's the Radio City Music Hall is often used as the place for large pop events and television shows.
