Tip 1
Almost everybody who visit New York takes the taxi from and to the airport, but there are plenty of other ways. For example the subway, most people think the subway will stay underground, but outside Manhatten, the subway will travel above ground, so you will be able to look at the outskirts of New York.

Tip 2
If you want to see New York from a different perspective, take a tour in a helicopter. It is a bit expensive, but on a clear day, it is worth the money.
