We all know New York from the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty and unfortunatly from the terrorist attacks of September 11 2001, when 2 planes hit the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in Downtown Manhatten. Many New Yorkers died instantly in these attacks.
But with the tragedy behind us, New York is crawling to become a magnificent city again, if it has not regained it's strenght yet.
Nowaday's New York is a great place to visit, when you like culture or architecture, nightlife or shopping, you will definitely not dislike New York for the many possibillities it offers.
