Climate

Placed right in between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean, Cape Town has nice and pleasant summers and mild winters. The average summer temperature is between 15 and 27 degrees Celcius. The average winter temperature is between 7 and 20 degrees Celcius.


Most tourists visit Cape Town during the summer. On average, a normal summerday has 11 hours of sun each day. Many of the visiting tourist come to Cape Town because of the weather, because in their home countries in Europe and North America is much, much colder.

However, most people visit Capa Town during the summer, the best time to bring a visit is during the spring and the autumn. There are not so many tourists and the nature is at it's best.

But be warned for the Cape Tonian weather, it is said that Cape Town has weather of four seasons that can happen in one day. You need to take precautions, especially when you are going to undertake outdoor activities, like climbing the table mountain. You don't want a bad weather change while you are halfway up the mountain.
