Rambla

La Rambla is a combination of shorter streets, each differently named, but combined to La Rambla. La Rambla goes from the Plaça de Catalunya toward the harbor. Many shops, restaurants and tourist shops can be found at La Rambla.

La Rambla is often referred as the major tourist attraction of Barcelona, however, a lot of people disslike La Rambla because of the business and the many, many tourists that come here.

La Rambla can be crowded, especially during the tourist season. For this reason, it has become a prime target for pickpockets. Lots of unwary tourists have had their wallets stolen on this street. Most recently robbery has also become an issue, even during daylight hours. Please stay aware walking down La Rambla.
